AtReef Therapy’s Story
This page is the story of how AtReef Therapy came to look and sound the way it does. The brand is not decoration. It is evidence that the practice is considered. The swan, the cream paper, the deep green, the small gold details, the quiet way the sentences are written: each one is a small piece of the same idea, and that idea is also the idea behind the clinical work.
“What remains unseen within us often becomes repeated between us.”
The shape of this practice
AtReef Therapy is a small, deliberately private psychotherapy practice in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am Dr. Ehsan Adib Shabahang, the founder and your therapist. There is no team. There are no associates. When you book a consultation, you talk to me. When you become a client, the work happens between you and me.
I built AtReef for couples and individuals who want therapy to feel structured, relationally serious, and clinically careful. My clients are often high-functioning, reflective adults who have tried other therapy and want something deeper. They are willing to look at themselves, not only at their partner. They are not looking for a quick fix.
Couples therapy is my primary service. Individual therapy is offered as a strong secondary service, especially for adults whose individual struggles are tied to relationships, attachment, emotional regulation, self-worth, or identity.
