Pro CC in 2020
Premiere is a famous video editing software by Adobe that works both Windows and Apple computers. It is similar to Apple’s Final Cut Pro X video editing software. However, it has become the program of choice for many video creators.
Premiere Pro is non-destructive editing software, which suggests nothing you do in the program that can change or overwrite your media files. That said, it is always a good idea to keep a backup of your project and your media files. Adobe Premiere Pro is taught in three of our workshops. Here is what a Premiere Pro project looks like — it’s pretty straightforward for a video-editing interface for all users. These four main windows make up your workspace:

- Project (bottom left): Where you import and organize all of your media
- Source Monitor (top left): Where you view and trim the raw media
- Program Monitor (top right): Where you view the timeline sequence
- Timeline (bottom right): Where you create and edit your videos
