Cover unwanted noise the right way with soothing sounds via Bose Sleepbuds.

Bose Noise-Masking Sleepbuds is uniquely designed for sleep. However, they do not stream music or cancel noise. These small, wireless earbuds utilize pre-loaded, calming sounds to cover up unwanted noises day or night so that you can get to sleep — and stay asleep when you want.

In the past nights, I have had a much better sleep experience with these Sleepbuds by Bose. I have slept longer and more soundly, especially when I am traveling. Even the times that I have woken up from my sleep, the pre-recorded sounds helped me go back to sleep much faster. So yes, I have to say that the Bose Wireless Noise-Masking Sleepbuds really do work as advertised. I have plan to continue using them even during the day when I am riding the train or working. I’m still not sure if it was worth it or not in terms of the price since it cost $240, but I can agree that in terms of quality and functionality the Bose Sleepbuds are number one.

If I could craft or customize and add my sounds – then yes for sure it would be much better, but honestly, for its size, I am happy with what it dose. I have to say that I’m a bit annoyed by its inability to control the volume except through the app. Therefore, my pause on recommendations to buy or not. If you can afford its price and do need a sleeping aid to help you sleep, then yes, purchase it and enjoy it because it really does make a difference. If the price point stretches you or you truly do not need any noise-masking device, then I think you should wait and not buy it.

Sleep never sounded so good

10 preinstalled sounds to choose from, ranging from relaxation boosters like Downstream (a babbling brook) and Swell (crashing ocean waves) to noise-masking sounds like Altitude (a plane cruising at 30,000 feet) and my personal fave, Warm Static (the ignorable sound of a fuzzy TV).

And with more than thousands of five-star reviews on Amazon. Many customers use them to conceal their partner’s snoring and the outside sounds. Overall they conformed that the sleepbuds make all the difference by completely blocking out the noise.

The only downside to it is that some customers have noted that these buds do not play your own music. You only listen to the tracks that Bose has provided. But with the new update, there have been so many new sounds added in the app that you can download. Having the buds to me does eliminate the need to use my phone and its battery during the night or carry along with other sleep sound machine.

If you are an incredibly light sleeper or a high-maintenance sleeper like me you need this. Or even a sleeper who can not stand to hear your partner snore the Bose Sleepbuds are just worth the price. Since I travel so much these Sleepbuds, they are essentially an investment in your sleep or when traveling.

How do I know if my device is compatible?

Your (smartphone, tablet, etc.) must support Bluetooth Low Energy (also called Bluetooth Smart) to work correctly with the Bose noise-masking sleepbuds. Apple devices with iOS 10 or later are compatible, and most devices with Android 5.0 and newer versions support Bluetooth Low Energy.

Why noise masking?

Masking works because of the way different sounds combine in our inner ears; if they have the right match of frequencies and one (the masking sound) is just enough louder than another (the disturbing sound), your inner ear and brain cannot detect the disturbing sound. Cancellation creates quiet in our ear canals; masking — in the right conditions — creates quiet in our minds.
Bose noise-masking sleepbuds combine passive blocking of sleep-disturbing sounds with a choice of sounds engineered to mask what is not blocked by the eartips. The masking and passive blocking work together synergistically, so the masking can be listened to at a quiet level that is soothing and which fades from your attention as you drift off to sleep.
